Passtation is a client-side tool designed to generate passwords and store them locally within your web browser. It is provided as a free, open-source utility under the MIT License.

2. "As-Is" Warranty Disclaimer

The application is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

While we use the Web Crypto API to provide cryptographically secure generation, we do not guarantee that passwords generated are unbreakable or that the application is immune to all security vulnerabilities.

3. User Responsibility

• Data Backup: Because Passtation stores data exclusively in your browser's localStorage, you are solely responsible for backing up any passwords you save.
• Data Loss: We cannot recover your data if it is lost due to cleared browser caches, device failure, or accidental deletion.
• Security Practices: You are responsible for the security of the devices you use to access this application.

4. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of, or in connection with the software or the use or other dealings in the software.

5. Open Source and License

Passtation is open-source software. You are encouraged to review, fork, and contribute to the code via our official GitHub repository. Use of the code is subject to the terms of the MIT License.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the application after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
